Replacement of an epiploon of an output flange of the back driveshaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Illustrative material on replacement of an epiploon of an entrance shaft of the transfer case is presented on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Remove the back driveshaft.
  3. Raschekante both release a fixing nut (6) and release a back output flange (3) from the transfer case (1), - try not to lose a washer (5) and a sealing ring (4).

The nut is subject to replacement without fail!

  1. Take a back epiploon (2) and by means of a suitable mandrel put new on its place.
  2. Establish into place an output flange, - in case of need replace a sealing ring (4). Tighten and fuller the NEW fixing nut.
  3. Connect the driveshaft.
  4. In conclusion check oil level in the transfer case, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment.
  5. Start the engine and check the transfer case for existence of signs of development of leaks.
